The word 'dhir" means steadfast, as in "randhir". "ran" means "war" and therefore this means one who shows bravery on the battle field, ie, one who does not run away from the battle field. The word "dhiren" is derived from "dhir" by adding the suffix "en". The word "dhiren" as such does not carry any meaning it is just a name commonly found in India for male persons.
