My comment:

''mali'' means ''a little one'' in Croatian and I think it is closest translation for word ''baby''

Sretan ti rodjendan ljubavi

My comment:

Although baby is translated literally ''bebo'', I would still put love at the end because in croatian it doesnt really work with the word baby, so Happy Birthday my love.

'baby' can be a lot of things - literally 'beba' ... then:
dragi (m), draga (f) (my darling)
dušo (my soul)
... etc.
