Batea is a word that in aquaculture means Plataforma de madera que se coloca en el mar para la cría o cultivo de mejillones y otros moluscos. Another meaning for batea is a small boat used in some ports. Not in this case.
In english the word punt is used to translate batea when the meaning is small boat, not when it is a tray to cultivate mussels or oysters
