From german to italian, please. I'd like to know the italian word for Salwald. As far as I know, there is no translation for the word Sal (a tree resembling a magnolia).

in the shadow of the Salwald forest

My comment:

There is a locality Salwald near Basles (Basel), Switzerland, with this name. Presumably it lies near - i.e. in the shadow - of a forest with this name. There is a fine restaurant there too.
Just look at Inernet!

My references:

Internet: Salkwald

i surfed the net and found out that the saltree is similar to a magnolia and is found only in the Far East. There is no translation for this noun in German, Italian and English.
