The asker's comment:

Many thanks Mrs Cochran, your suggestion is indeed the best I have come across so far, well ... let's say by default :) since I myself had try something similar, such as " votre /un second (petit) chez-soi" "un (vrai / véritable) (petit) chez-soi" "votre / (veritable )(petit) chez-soi bis".
All in all this line we both follow gets the edge in my view because unlike competing options it's a creative one.
Now for the flip side, and please don't take it amiss :) I am still far from declaring myself satisfied, for I was actually on the lookout for a TRUE FRENCH IDIOM as a NATURAL SOUNDING MATCH to the given english idiom. Always the best solution, don't you think ?
So I am afraid asking the question on this board unfortunately has brought me nothing that new.
All YOU did was bringing water to my mill.
Thanks and kudos or your time, interest, insight, and, above all, creative effort.
Yours sincerely
