"aufrecht" wird vor allem in AT gebraucht. Ein "aufrechter" Vertrag ist ein "bestehender" (existing) Vertrag der gültig (valid) ist.

(contracts that are still running...I think this is meant here as it leads to many problems these day...the money is lost, but the contracts still have to be fulfilled)
