Language pair:

French > English

Subject:

Medical

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

SIV

Context:

Cardiac Echo Tests

The answer of Charles Ferguson  See profile was rated best

interventricular septum

My comment:

I suspect SIV stands for "septum interventriculaire" if, as you say, this is from an echo report. I would be even more confident if there is a thickness dimension in there too.

My references:

Personal experience.
Try "Anatomie humaine: descriptive, topographique et fonctionelle" in Google.
