Geea (a guest user) asked this question:

Language pair:

French > English

Subject:

Business / Marketing / Financial

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

reprise d'actif

Context:

Keywords:

/// Again, of course I understand the concept but just can't quite think how to word this...TIA.

The answer of   See profile was rated best

sale of assets (to a new owner)

My comment:

The concept of "reprise" is typically French, as they attach much more value to the continuity of a business than Americans do.
