My comment:

Se trata de un parche, del tamaño de un post-it note, al que se le desprende el papel para pegarlo sobre el área del electrodo. El adhesivo está en el perímetro de la post-it note (tarjeta) y el medio no tiene porque ahí es donde cabe el electrodo. Su función es fijar al electrodo para que no se nueva durante la prueba.

Aunque le llaman "tape" no es del ancho tradicional del rollo de cinta que usamos en la casa y en la escuela. Este es un kit di-se-ña-do específicamente y con todo lo necesario para el proveedor, por eso, aunque si bien se trata de cinta adhesiva, en este caso es un parche debido a sus dimensiones.
