Josephine Cassar  See profile asked this question:

Language pair:

French > English

Subject:

Business / Marketing / Financial

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

Renvoi DLUO

Context:

Same text speaking about lists of Dénomination commerciale

Keywords:

dénomination légale de vente, marke , DLC/DLUO (I found DLC means expiry date) and DLUO and I am confused how to put them in brackets too, then this

For 'Use by' date see......

My comment:

DLUO = Date limite d'utilisation optimale (Use by ....)

More context would be useful, but 'renvoi' is used to refer the consumer to the location of the respective 'best before' and 'use by' dates on the wrapping.
I don't understand your reference to bracketing the abbreviations.
