Se refiere a la subcontrataciÃ³n de servicios ajenos a la actividad principal de la empresa. Es decir, contratar a otras empresas para que se ocupen de tareas que no son las tÃpicas de la propia empresa. Por ejemplo, se pueden subcontratar (externalizar) los servicios de limpieza o seguridad, pero tambiÃ©n las compras, los recursos humanos, etc.
