Barbara R. Cochran (a guest user) asked this question:

Language pair:

Spanish > English

Subject:

General

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

que se puede poner muy mal

Context:

The first person speaking is saying the her cousin is dead, even though he showed up at the family Christmas party.

I think it must mean "it could make you very ill", but I am looking for something that reflects more of the mental health aspect. Perhaps "it could make you crazy"?
