Barbara R. Cochran (a guest user) asked this question:

Language pair:

Spanish > English

Subject:

General

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

como tú digas

Context:

-¿Qué tal, prima? Ya estás lista para el recorrido?

-¡Sí, claro, Amanda, como tú digas!

Not sure if the cousin who is answering means "just like you describe it" (the grand tour of the plant), or something else like "whatever you want".

Amanda, her cousin, has been her supervisor at work and has a put-down attitude towards her cousin.

whatever you say...

My comment:

Just a guess, but I think Amanda's cousin is acquiescing, perhaps in a deferential sort of way. She is perhaps implying "that's OK by me".
