Il n’en fut pas moins désavoué, tout d’abord par Utikal, chef administratif de l’ERR, et ensuite – comble d’infortune – par le Reichsmarschall lui-même, qui n’hésita pas, dans une note écrite de sa main, à blâmer catégoriquement l’action que son trop zélé
mandataire avait menée en son nom.
Voici la protestation qu’Utikal adressa à Goering alors qu’il croyait encore à un coup de main monté sur ordre du Reichsmarschall

My comment:

NB here "coup de main" means an attack or an assault. The way I understand it, Utikal complained to Goering because he believed Goering was unfairly blaming him for carrying out his orders overzealously.
