This is a bit like alternative or complementary medicine - "natural" medicine. Hope this helps.

Are you sure? I saw that the term used in French is medicine alternative. Is there another branch of medicine used at all? Are the terms "alternative", "complementary" and "parallel" quite synonymous? Thanks for the input.
