"apparu" from "appara^itre" means "appear/seem", indicating possibility or likelihood, not certainty.

To indicate possibility, "sembler" or "paraitre" are normally used, not "apparaitre." I don't think the context above represents anything all that relative. It's more like a given or something that is obvious.

Hi, Trinh Do. The point I was making is that the concept of "natural beauty" is not all that relative. Anyway, I would translate the whole phrase as "It is a representation of natural beauty on account of its obviously aesthetic appearance and its geological nature," or "Because of its aesthetic appearance and geological nature, it is a representation of natural beauty." By the way, I'm much calmer than I apparently came across. Regards.

Take it easy, I did consult the dictionary for certainty as the phrase can be tricky. "apparaitre" can also be used, besides "sembler" and "paraitre", to indicate likelihood. Of course, I did consider the possibility of "apparent" as French is very much related to English in many ways. But this can be one of the "faux amis" in French. I hope you don't think I'm nit-picking. By the way, how was the medical translation?
