Por las palabras clave que pones, ussr accounts, podr�a tratarse de algo relacionado con cuentas bancarias. SI ese fuera el caso, yo lo traducir�a como "transacci�n".

It sounds to me as a "Software" context. In Mexico at least, it is traslated so. For instance, "Event Viewer" is "Visor de Eventos"

Yes, "Evento" is the most used option in marketing, mobile phones, software, etc. Another option would be "acontecimiento", although in this context "Evento" sounds better to me.
