According to Black's Law Dictionary, accession=the act of acceding or agreeing. It's my understanding, based on your context, that the bailleur is under no obligation to agree or consent to the "travaux."

It is the common intent of the parties that this financial participation of the LESSOR doesn’t carry any obligation for the LESSOR to acquire ownership of said works at the end of the lease.
