My comment:

Heike's Eigenschaften are a little too specific for me. It's quite possible that the reference is to a more general *feature* such as a whole program module, task etc. And to specific: Unfortunately this is often used loosely as a synonym for individual, i.e. einzelne. Does the context show exactly how it is meant?
