Or could it just mean "night uniforms" (which I doubt)?

Can't think of any other reason why "lenceria" is used in this context.

My comment:

"lencer�a" is used for linens and also for lingerie, but it doesn't make sense that uniforms would be made out of linen or lingerie. In English, "bed linens" just refers to sheets, which traditionally have been white. So here I think "lencer�a" just refers to white cloth (maybe broadcloth, which is what sheets are made of).
