the fortissimo of unscrewed twelve-cylinders, if they have really been turned out. Maybe you can try to get some technical background...ask somebody who tinkers with cars.

If we don´t have a typo I would offer: "the fortissio of a twelfe cylinder at maximum speed", im Sinne von maximaler Drehzahl (bevor sich der Motor "disintegriert")
