Language pair:

French > English

Subject:

Other

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

de bon standing

Context:

Keywords:

/// I've seen this translated as "good standing" but I have to disagree. To me, it means something like "pleasant", "nice place to stay"...but I'm searching for the best way to word this. Thanks.

establishment of good standing

My comment:

I would be literal here "standing" is from English and fits perfectly well

My comment:

I found appartement de grand standing=luxury flat. "Upscale" I think is more like it..
