Context:

On a university grade transcript. Does anyone know the difference betwee these two terms?

I'm finding teh translation of "outstanding" fro both of teh terms, but obviously, in Spanish they are different.

My comment:

"Notable" does literally mean "remarkable", but I've never seen "remarkable" on a transcript or report card. It's basically the equivalent of a "B" grade.
