das starre Chassis und das Schlittenchassis (Multiplex), bei dem der Radstand variabel ist, überzeugen in jedem Fall.

Es un tipo de chasis, pero parece que la traducción literal "chasis de trineo" no se utiliza.

Creo que hace referencia al bobsleigh (trineo de balancín o trineo a motor).

Otro significado de schlitten es carro. "Vehículo de dos ruedas, con una plataforma en cuya parte delantera se ajustan unas varas que sirven para jalarlo"
