Ohne Kontext unmöglich sicher zu sagen.
Umgangssprachlich auch im Deutschen: Bei jemanden "die Knöpfe drücken" oder auch "den Nerv treffen".

In der Therapie ein gängiger Ausdruck

und:
Meist wissen Mädchen/Kinder ganz genau, welche Knöpfe sie bei ihren Vätern/Eltern drücken müssen, um das zu bekommen, was sie wollen.
