My comment:

The word "suculento" immediately collocates with food or eating. To me, the connection to a smile is part of the art of the author. I would suggest "lavish" or "sumptuous" to keep the association to a (musical) feast.

I've been looking at all these questions, and the author is writing up, not down....she or he uses unusual phrasing....in every day speech, suculento is not for juicy....people would say: sucoso or com muito suco....which is why I used the Latin word in English.
