missing text: grupo de dandies que [frequentavam] todos os salões mondanos.
It depends on time and place: salons as in literary salons of the 19th century....otherwise, circiles

"Fashionable salons" sounds like the kind of place one gets their hair and nails done, not to mention deadly radiation from tanning beds.
