Well, for me it's the Portuguese word for cozy. However, I fail to see how an afternoon can be snug or cozy. Nevertheless, this writer uses these unusual adjectives and adverbs. So why look for noon at 1400 hours as the French say...who by the way have no word for cozy....:)

basic Portuguese in any dictionary

aconchegante= cozy.
