abstract reasoning and proofs would have to be used

My comment:

You have no context but in the sentence that is regular Spanish;

In any event, abstraction and proofs or a proof would have to be used.

Is this a teacher? Usually, one would NOT use process in English

Thanks for your comment on not using process in English. I think you're right. I did give some context, which I thought would be enough. Anyway, I think you've hit the nail on the head.

abstraction and proof

My comment:

A suggestion: In any case, abstraction and proof should be predicated.
Another: In any case, abstraction and proof processes should be followed.

process of abstraction and (another) of demonstration

My comment:

In scientific texts, the use of nouns as adjectives is not common.

Abstraction/elimination/withdrawal and proof procedure/process

My comment:

Demostracion in maths terms tends to mean "proof"

Thanks Ffion. My problem is that "proof process" doesn't sound right. I've never heard of it before. Maybe just "an abstraction process and a proof" might work. Or do you have it on good authority that "proof process" is what's used in the mathematical jargon?
