My comment:

You have to be careful with the position of the parts of speech in this sentence. Here it says everyday the duce received (as in hosted in his offices or home) the Foreign Minister, differently from other members of the government who were not granted the chance to see him every day. What is stressed here is the relationship between the minister and the duce which seems to be close and continuous. Some other answers given have a wrong grammatical approach.

the underlying meaning being that he was "called in"-you can use this too-contrary to how many times the others had to call/report to him
