Adesivo é composto de duas folhas de material, mesmo, coladas uma na outra. A dúvida é o sheet. Pelas infs que vc forneceu, "folhas" seriam a tradução correta. Agora, se é outro material, poderia tb ser traduzido como as partes interna e externa do [material]. Note que "sheet" tb é utilizado, por exemplo, para folhas de alumínio (só ex.).
