She shared the same name as the character in The Famous Five

My comment:

I think there is a reference to the movie The Famous Five based on Enid Blyton's book. You may want to add "main character." I am not sure but I felt I had to add a few extra words to make it sound more English (my second language).

My references:

Famous Five and Le club des cinq are all over the internet.

You definitely got me off on the right track. "Club du Cinque" seems to refer to "The Famous Five". But, actually, the "prénom" of the French translator of Enid Blyton's book is "Claude", the same first name of the sculptor in the book I'm translating.

As a variation to your answer, which I like a lot by the way; here's my slightly different version. Introducing the word "similarity" earlier perhaps. "She shared many similarities with... same Christian name etc..." "similar" is probably more accurate than "same."
