Language pair:

French > English

Subject:

Business / Marketing / Financial

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

résultats chiffrés des phénomènes physiques

Context:

I'm having difficulty with the overall sense of the second sentence here: "Cette étude reprend le monétarisme keynésien, en synthétisant la macroéconomie ...

Keywords:

Economics

Yep, that's pretty well what I want, but it's still not quite elegant enough IMHO. Maybe 'involved in' rather than 'entailed by'? I know I'm being picky, but the piece is pitching the book to a publisher, so needs to have impact in only a few paragraphs - no room for sloppiness!

Well I'm not actually here to do the work for you. Sorry my suggestion wasn't up to your exacting standards. Best regards, Mr. Sloppy.

LOL! Sorry - didn't mean to offend, especially as you've always shown extremely sound judgement in your responses. Many thanks and a deep, humble obeisance to you, Ms Picky.
