My comment:

I can't give you the translation, but I can tell all of you that this is jargon used in statistics. The context in this case is a study of the cost effectiveness of a certain treatment for depression. If anyone can find the DSM 3 or 4 (The bible of Psychiatry) in Spanish, you'll find everything you need there.

tecnicas que faciliten la retransformacion

My comment:

More information on the context of the sentence is needed for an accurate translation.

However, it can be assumed that retransformation means a continuous modifying process; therefore, changes in the cost data should necessarily be accomplished through tools or techniques which ease those transformations.

frotis

My comment:

Estoy de acuerdo con las posibilidades que te han dado, porque dependen del contexto. Parece que están hablando de cuentas pero el tema es médico. Entonces solo tu puedes decifrarlo usando lo que te han dicho aquí. Espero ayudarte.

frotis= slide smear / white-out= borrar o blanquear

My comment:

This appears to be an accounting statement. The statement refers to correcting or "whiting out" incorrect data.
In a medical context, a (slide) smear is called a frotis. (Mosby's)
