गॅविन

My comment:

This is my take on the word. The difference between this rendering and the one that my colleague has provided - गेविन - is that, in my version, the 'ga' rhymes with the 'ga' of 'GATT'. In the other version, the 'ga' rhymes with the 'ga' of 'Gay'.

Hope i was able to make myself clear ... :)

Sanjay.

See what I mean? This answer reads 'Gavni' and not Gavin.

you have a complex text layout (CTL) issue where it shows the matra of E after the letter and that's why it appears to you as gavni and not gavin !

My comment:

If this is for a tattoo, I would advise you not to take chances with so called 'universal' fonts, none of which is really reliable. What you need is a graphic representation to avoid a fiasco. A tattoo is, after all, practically for ever.
Just email me and I'll send you a graphic rendering.
