other answerers can sound so sure that this is human food being tested! From where, exactly, in the small amount of context given, does this idea come - all it says is 'aliments' - a fairly broad term. It would be a total waste of time testing most human food on dogs - I can tell you as a dog owner that most dogs don't turn their noses up at much that was meant for humans. Now dog food, that's another matter! Surely from your context you must know what these 'aliments' are!

The whole concept is kind of gross, but not so much so if they are taste testing it for other dogs/animals. Should they be taste-testing for human consumption, then it would be a little disgusting.
