Rosa (a guest user) asked this question:

Language pair:

French > English

Subject:

Law / Certificates

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

siégeant

Context:

If this is one word by itself before the list of judges, does it really just mean "seating"? The document is Swiss, again, and I can't find an official English version.

siégeant : M. [nom], président ; Mme [nom] et M. [nom], juges assesseur(e)s.

Sitting

My comment:

This is what it means or 'Sitting are:...' another way of saying it is 'In jurisdiction are...' but 'Sitting' is what it really means here
