Une grande composition du XVIIIe siècle français, pour laquelle les noms d’Hubert Robert et de Boucher furent prononcés, selon que l’on considérait le paysage ou les figures, fut envoyée au musée par deux marchands parisiens avec quatre petites perspectives architecturées du genre Guardi ou Pannini.

I think it's "someone like" rather than "in the style of" here: the writer means the paintings could have been by these artists or someone similar.
I'd say "executed" because we don't know if they were paintings or drawings.
