crédits (ECTS)

My comment:

EC = study credit
"One study credit (EC) is equivalent to 28 hours of work and includes lectures/tutorials, reading, preparing for tests, exams, the writing and assessment of papers, etc." The credit system is based on the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
