I would leave it as is, since there is no correct English equivalent.

Plc = public limited company

My comment:

N.V. stands for naamloze vennootschap, in French it would be S.A. or SA (société anonyme), so STandaard Boekhandel, Plc.

don't translate it

My comment:

N.V. Standaard Boekhandel is the company's registered name - what you can do is tranlate it in brackets as (regular bookshop company)

My references:

Vanaf 1 januari 1967 werden de benaming Standaard Uitgeverij, Standaard Wetenschappelijke Uitgeverij (S.W.U.) en Standaard Educatieve Uitgeverij ingevoerd als afdelingen van de nieuwe N.V. Scriptoria. Vanaf die datum wordt de naam N.V. Standaard Boekhandel nog uitsluitend gebruikt voor boekhandelsaktiviteiten.
