My comment:

When in spanish we mention capital, Cuold be translated diferent regarding the context.
Options:
1) CAPITAL GAIN wich is the amunt of money that exceed its original price when you sell an asset
2) PROFIT is the opposite of LOSS, and it is use to reflect and positive gain in a business operation. Ussualy used as a result on the income statement
