Barbara Cochran (a guest user) asked this question:

Language pair:

Spanish > English

Subject:

General

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

"Looked at the bolt to the door to make sure no one (Aníbal) was trying to get in from the outside?"

Keywords:

I believe that Augustina might have just found out that her husband, Aníbal, is fooling around.

The answer of Clara Fernández  See profile was rated best

he looked through the key hole to see if there was anybody outside

My comment:

He's trying to see who's outside, so it would make more sense to me that he would be looking through the hole rather than "at the bolt"
