Notons que dans la référence ci-dessous, l'auteur a cru bon d'indiquer "fabric" entre parenthèses: "structure (fabric)".

Donc on ne parle ni d'infrastructure (même mot en anglais), ni de "matrice", seule traduction dans le domaine informatique donnée par Termium pour "fabric":
