My comment:

Es una acción, más que piezas: ya que este tipo de motores no cuenta con un sistema de arranque automático, el usuario tiene que dar gas y aplicar el movimiento de arranque para que encienda. Esto se hace por lo general con una cuerda. Así se explica la acción: el usuario jala la cuerda y acciona la alimentación de combustible para encender el motor. Yo lo traduciría menos literal, por ejemplo: ACCIONE EL ARRANQUE Y DÉ GAS AL MOTOR.

These two components are part from combustion englines. They work together to regulater the intake air and the flow of fuel into the combustion chamber of the cylinder.
