you can use soaked or drenched.... it does not have to be in tears... it can also be from the rain. I have heard songs about a guy singing about a woman standing in rain and her face getting soaked... so yes the words to use here can be any of those 2,.......... Iguess when you listen to the song then you will know what it was soaked in (tears, rain, water, etc)

If you want to be more literary, you can use tears as a metaphor for rain. "Drenched by the tears falling down from the skies (Heaven)," if indeed you are talking about rain. Hard to tell for sure without knowing all the lyrics of each of the songs.
