nous avons réalisé une revue historique de la profitabilité

Nous avons également analysé et sécurisé la prévision budgétaire /// I just keep thinking "historic review", but then that makes me think of something to do with history, whereas this is something more like an audit or assessment based on the company's financial history. how to word this a bit more concise than that...?

My comment:

I like "overview" the best, although it isn't literal and just came off the top of my head .

"Historical" is sometimes used in context of a "record" of a something specific, or a consistent repitition of something, over a period of time. It doesn't always refer to the subject of History.
