Barbara Cochran (a guest user) asked this question:

Language pair:

Spanish > English

Subject:

General

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

rezagos

Context:

My comment:

"If you say that sth is a leftover from the apst, you mean that çit has its origins thereand still exists even though most other thigs connected to that time have disappeared" Collins Cobuild dictionary.

Or a bit looser, and a bit more "poetic", ? echoes...
