Como es natural, las suspicacias estaban a la orden del d?a, y el extraordinario n?mero de caras nuevas en la ciudad, levent? las sospechas de los hombres del gobierno, quienes reciente a?n en "el sitio de Manila" por los "balancistas", volv?an de ver de nuevo "balancistas" hasta en la sopa. Pero esta vez no se les prend?a, sino que se les acusaba simplemente de intentar la invasi?n de los precintos electorales con votantes tra?dos de las provincias.
