you ought to start doing something
My comment:
There is a spelling mistake in the spanish word FALTERIA. It should read: FALTARIA...
The general meaning of the sentence involves some kind of warning, if I understand it properly

If it is the girl who is speaking. If it is the officer who is speaking, see my other entry below.

I told him I didn't care what he did, that was the only thing missing, for him to try something
My comment:
The girl is telling the officer that she doesn't care if he tries something (sexual, violent, ????, who knows), "faltaria que empieces haciendo algo" means the girl's resignation to the fact that the officer might try to hurt her or do something to her.

that's just the opportunity you would need to make an unwanted pass
My comment:
The individual apparently feels uncomfortable: "y yo dije que no". Then when the individual says "no me importa lo que vas a hacer", it sounds like he/she doesn't care what the consequences are. He/She simply refuses to undress.
So, when I read "falterķa que empieces haciendo algo", I hear the individual being anxious about the idea that that the officer might have sexual ideas.
