I mean not synthetic drugs. I did not find the word in "Mots sur la pharmacie" par Prof. André Boucherle (Grenoble) et Louisette Josserand, Éditions de Santé Paris. Perhaps you can ask Mr. Alain Labrousse, sociologist in Paris, author of a lot of books on drugs (look at Internet)..., whom I knew personally since 15 years...
